Radiotherapy

Often abbreviated RT, RTx, or XRT, is the medical use of ionizing radiation, generally as part of cancer treatment to control or kill malignant cells. Radiation therapy may be curative in a number of types of cancer if they are localized to one area of the body. 

Computed Tomography

Toshiba offers a wide range of CT scanners to fulfil all possible user requirements. Using the same detector technology, Aquilion Multi and Asteion Multi are the only systems offering 4 slices of 0,5 mm up to 8 mm in a single rotation. Furthermore our CT program embraces the Asteion Dual and Single Slice systems while the entrance level of is marked by the Auklet.

Ultrasound

Our ultrasound product range is one of the most extensive in the world. It offers systems and system configurations for a large range of dedicated clinical applications, research purposes and routine examinations.

Interventional Angiography

In some advanced radiology department, interventional procedures are carried out with angiography equipments, offered by Toshiba Infinix-i. Lesions such as arterio-venous malformation (AVM) found in the brain or blockade in the carotid artery can be treated using Infinix-i angiography system. Larger flat panel detector, such as 12" x 16", can be used for bolus chase DSA of the extremities.
